We are excited to announce that RCHAL, along with Seton Home Study School, will again help support the IHM Southeast Louisiana Homeschool Conference! We are fortunate to have IHM serve our RCHAL families and our homeschool community with a local conference again this year. We will not be having a separate RCHAL conference.
We invite you to attend the conference on Friday, April 20, 2018 from 12 noon to 6 pm. The conference will be held at the Clarion Hotel located at 501 North Highway 190, Covington, LA 70433.

Parents are highly encouraged to make childcare arrangements for their children. As stated on the IHM Conference site, "the conference is like a professional development day for teachers."
There will be a Used Book Sale at the IHM Conference, organized by Susan Swanner. Please read the details below if you are interested in participating.
USED BOOK SALE: We will accept the following in good condition: books on home schooling, textbooks, keys, teacher's manuals, readers, book report books, manipulatives, flash cards, etc. We do not want anything that you would not normally find at a curriculum fair/homeschool conference. Books and materials will be accepted on Friday, April 6 at the First Friday Picnic, Thursday, April 12 at P.E. and on the morning of the conference, Friday, April 20 at the Clarion Hotel from 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.

***NOTE: For the LAST HOUR of the used book sale we will be doing a 1/2 off sale. If you want to sell your books for 1/2 price the last hour of the sale, please write out the words on your 3X5 card in RED ink. Your books can still sell for FULL PRICE from 12 p.m.- 5 p.m. even if the words on the card are written in red ink; we will ONLY sell books that have the tags written in red ink from 5 p.m.- 6 p.m.
